And by chilling, I mean he’s not even really having to try right now. 144 points per week and heading into week 6 with a 4-1 record. Can anyone dethrone the hoodie? Hopefully. Because while it would be hilarious for Adam to win this league this year… can any of the rest of us really live with that?
Speaking of things that are tough to live with… imagine living life as Joey. My dude is once again scoring more points than anyone else in this league but staring down the barrel of a 1-4 record. He’s doing everything ‘right’ and just keeps running into buzzsaws. Can he rally or will this be enough to end his season early.
Speaking of buzzsaws… Jensen. 208 points this week!!!! That’s so many points. And while Jensen isn’t very high in the power rankings (hey other weeks exist, too) the fact that his team can produce like this is maybe a positive sign for his future.
Wanna know what’s fun? Falling asleep around 10:20 with a 90% chance of winning your fantasy matchup against Nathan and then waking up to see that you lost by about a point. Josh Allen is a supernova and it’s really on me for thinking any margin was gonna be big enough to be safe. Nathan is the #2 ranked team in the league and could be a real problem if the Hoodie stumbles.
Austin’s team is a little confusing as he’s got 4 wins but only averaging 129 points a week. That’s not bad. It’s just not in the same stratosphere as Nathan, Adam, and Joey. Can he continue his run of good matchups? Or will the TDs hit a wall?
Travis, Corey, and Murkve are all kind of in the shadow realm of “IDK, maybe one of these teams do something eventually.” Kyle is bad but normal bad. Chris is bad but annoying bad.
That’s the state of the league.
