The first week of the 2026 Fantasy Football season is over and with it came plenty of highs and lows for this league. Some players showed up (Thanks, Ken Walker). Some players absolutely did not in any way shape or form (Colston Loveland… what the heck, dude?)
At the end of the day through one person currently sits atop the TOTALLY CORRECT AND NOT AT ALL QUESTIONABLE MCATL (AND FRIENDS) FANTASY FOOTBALL LEAGUE POWER RANKINGS. His name is NATHAN!
Oh, hey. Travis. The Power Rankings is something that gets published MOST Tuesdays. It’s curated by an Algorithm that we all trust and love and never question.
Anyway, Nathan holds the number one spot this week after his team put up 172 points this week. It turns out having TWO good QBs in a Super Flex league is kind of a cheat code. (I did the opposite and went with two kinda bad QBs.) Hurst and Allen combined for 70 points for Nathan this week. Can he continue this kind of domination against Jensen this week?
Corey and Joey also fared well this week rounding out the top three in the Power Rankings this week.
On the other side of the Power Rankings is Kyle. The more things change, the more things stay the same.
Week One is weird. How much of what we saw this week was real? How much of it was offenses still figuring things out? You can’t OVERREACT to Week One, but you do have to REACT in some way. So, hop on the waivers. Send some trade proposals (without Justin here, someone has to take up the mantle) and let’s head into Week Two with our heads held high.
