Our 2018 Champion: Scott Morgan

This one is particularly tough to write.

Scott Morgan has done what Bryant has been (so far) unable to do, win the Championship in this league. He is our 2018 Champion!

Scott’s Team, “Drake Knows God’s Plan 4 You” was lead this year by Patrick Mahomes, Antonio Brown, and George Kittle. He entered the playoffs at the #4 seed with a record of 8-5. This marks the second year in a row that the Championship has been won by someone with an 8-5 record.

In the first round of the playoffs, Scott came face to face with Kyle Murkve and his team “It Ertz When I Pee.” Despite having Devonta Freeman, David Johnson and Julio Jones, Murkve’s team was no match for the Champ. Scott won 104 – 98.

In the second round Scott faced off with the best team in the league, Team Olivas and their owner Bryant. Team Olivas secured the #1 seed with a 9-4 record. It was one of the closest playoff games in recent memory, but despite Team Olivas’s best efforts, Scott’s team won 104 – 101. (A part of Bryant died that day)

In the Championship Game, Scott faced off with the #2 seed, Corey Leak. If Scott was going to win his first Championship, he was going to have to got through one of the most prolific Fantasy Football owners in the history of our illustrious League. His team was up for the challenge though. Scott beat Corey 114 to 108.

Scott Morgan is our Champion and he did it by defeating three incredible teams. His playoff run this year should be celebrated for years to come. Congrats to our CHAMPION!!
