Austin is the captain now.
For weeks Scott’s team has been dominating this league. But this week, a pair of wonderful TDs put him in his place (we all would cream) as Austin’s team beat Scott’s by nearly 30 points to claim a victory and the #1 spot on the Power Rankings.
Austin’s team being led by Bijan Robinson, the running back from Scott’s favorite team, makes this victory all the sweeter.
The Scotts may be at the top of the Power Rankings this week, but it was another team who scored the most points. Kachow put on a clinic lead by nearly thirty points from BOTH Josh Jacobs and De’von Achane. Jayden Daniels and Drake London both also put up over 26 this week. Justin may have one less win than The Scotts, but he’s quietly put together a powerhouse, and teams should not be looking forward to matching up against him.
Our league is always competitive, and this year is shaping up to be another close one. We currently have SEVEN teams at 3-3 or 2-4 in the league and two at 4-2. That’s 2/3 of the league within the ‘middle of the pack’. Only Joey is struggling at 1-5 and even for him there’s still plenty of time to turn things around if a couple of kick returners happen to do well. Plenty left to play for this year for sure.
Finally, a shout out to the CAROLINA PANTHERS for beating the DALLAS COWBOYS this week. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Imagine being the cowboys and seeing the Panthers on your schedule. Imagine showing up to Bank of American Stadium like “easy week, boys. Yeehaw.” Imagine having Uncle Rico run down your throat (you’d cream, Corey) play after play after play. Imagine having Bryce Young carve up your ‘defense’ for THREE touchdowns!?!?!?!?!
The Carolina Panthers are NOT a good football team. But at least they didn’t lose TO the Carolina Panthers. SUFFER COWBOYS.
