All Hale the NEW king, JUSTIN!
Kory served us well as the previous monarch of the Power Rankings. We thank him and wish him well in his future endeavors (except this week). But this week is all about THE WRECKFAST CLUB. Justin’s team ascends the Power Rankings for the first time this year with the #4 consistency score and tied for the league’s best record at 7-3. His ascent is surprising to some, but the Algo is confident in their math and wisdom. Congrats, Justin.
Meanwhile, this is the FINAL WEEK for trades in our league. All trades must be completed by the end of Monday nights game (November 21st). Remember that we do not trade draft picks but we WILL be keeping two players next year just like last. So, even if you’re out finding acceptable Keepers is something that you can still push for as the Trade Deadline looms.
One other piece of League news for you: the new Trophdeez. I’d like to publicly honor Kyle, Kory and Joey as the only three people to make submissions for the new Trophdeez. The rest of you can go directly to hell for saying you care about a thing but not proving it with your actions. Shame on you. Their submissions (and the only ones I care about, STFU the rest of you) basically come down to either a new physical trophy, or a championship belt. The League office believes that either of these would be cool! The Trophdeez doesn’t have to be a Trophy to be a Trophdeez. In the coming weeks, we’ll put together a poll to see which we prefer. But be thinking about the pros and cons of a belt vs a trophy (most of you won’t actually think about it. We’ll probably just do the belt).
Finally, let’s talk Playoffs. Because they are just FOUR weeks away! If the season ended right now, Kory, Joey, Adam, and Kyle would all make the Playoffs as Division winners. Corey and Justin would make the Playoffs in the wildcard spots. Kory and Adam would get the byes as the Division winners with the best records (tie breaks are rough, Justin).
