Ladies! We have a brand new record for most points scored in a week and it belongs to our very own lover of sea life, Corey Leak! This fool really fooled around and scored 194.14 points on a BYE WEEK!!! Dude had Pollard and Chase on his bench and scored that. In a year where scoring has been down across the league, this is truly astounding.
That means he’s ranked #1 right? Well. No. That’s still Kory. I know, I know. Boring, right? But the Algo doesn’t lie and they have determined that due to his record (Kory is 7-2 or the ‘Inverse Bryant”), the master of the Halestorm gets to keep his #1 ranking for another week. He plays me next week… so I guess he’ll get to keep it next week as well. Love it here.
Scott and I suck. Our teams are bad. But Jensen and Austin are right there with us in Suck Town. If there were a punishment, the four of us would be locked in a Fatal Four Way battle to see who gets the WINGS. It would actually be one of the most intense races to the bottom we’ve seen in a while. It might be really exciting and fun? But, alas, this place is hella lame and we don’t have that. What a shame.
If the season ended right now, Kory and Kyle are the only two with guaranteed playoff spots because they’re winning their divisions straight up. The other four spots would be divided among Corey, Joey, Nathan, Justin and Adam.
Finally, I’d like to honor Kory Hale. We’ve had five responses to the “New Troph-deez” poll proving once again that we care less about doing things than we do talking about doing things. However, he has submitted three out of those five submissions. We’ll vote on something official in the coming weeks, but chances are it’s going to be something he submitted. Thanks, friend.
