Our 2021 Champ: Kory Hale!

The Halestorm is Supreme.

Despite Kory being a newcomer to this league, he has climbed the summit and ascended to the peak of the Fantasy Football Patheon as our new Champ!

Kory’s team was dominant all year. He had the top score four weeks (including 3 of the final 4) and averaged right under 120 points per game during the regular season. This impressive output gave him a 12-2 record and the #1 seed going into the Playoffs. With the #1 seed, he also received a first-round bye.

In the second round of the Playoffs, he played last year’s Champ, Nathan. To call it a no-contest would be to call it too nice. Led by Higgins, Adams, and Mark Andrews, his team just about lapped Nathan’s team putting up an impressive 158.64 points to Nathan’s 82.52. He didn’t just beat Nathan, he banished him to the shadow realm.

In the Championship Game, he played everyone’s favorite Philly Fanatic (aside from THE Philly Fanatic), Joey. It originally looked like it would be close, however, the savvy pick-ups of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Devin Singletary led Kory’s team to a comfortable 145.48 – 120.96 result. GG, Joey.

Kory does what only Chord has done before him, win the League in his first year playing. We honor Kory. We honor his leather. His kids’ names. And his Fantasy Football SKILL that has nothing to do with luck at all. Right? RIGHT???????
