2019 was the year of the Dragonslayer.
Jensen entered the playoffs this year with a 6-7 record. How’s that possible? His division, the South, was historically bad this year. At 6-7, Jensen actually WON this division and punched his ticket to the playoffs with the #4 Seed.
In the first round Jensen faced Darth Trader and their owner Nathan. Nathan’s team made it to the playoffs in one of the Wild Card spots and was actually a trendy pick to win the whole thing. Alas, his core of Lamar Jackson and Barkley wasn’t enough to turn back the UGA RED TIDE because Todd Gurley and Nick Chubb ran all over Nathan’s poor team. Jensen won.
This one is gonna hurt to write… a lot. In the second round Jensen faced the overwhelming favorite to win this year, Bryant and his team Team Olivas 3000. Team Olivas 3000 ran through the league with his core of Cook, CMC and Godwin, but it was no use. All of his players sucked. Jensen won 122.5 – 92. Everything is darkness.
In the championship, Jensen faced off against the #2 seed; Justin and his team The Wreckfast Club. Justin’s team was good. Really good. But once again, the Dragonslayer drew his blade and cut down his foe. Despite Justin being an 8.5 point favorite in the Championship, Jensen’s team won 112.5 – 76.5
Jensen becomes our 8th Champion. His playoff run will go down in history as one of the most surprising (and annoying) playoff runs in history. All Hail Lord Jensen the Dragon Slayer!!!!!
