Our 2015 Champion: Corey Leak!

And just like that, we have our first ever TWO TIME Champion of the league, Corey Leak!

Corey and his team, Team You Fools, walked into the Playoffs with an 8-5 record and with the #5 Seed. His team was anchored by Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, and Jordan Reed (Corey x Jordan Reed 4EVA!).

In the first round Corey faced off against a familiar nemesis, Scott Morgan and his team King of the Tannehill. Team You Fools easily dispatched of the #8 Seeded team 124 – 87.

In the second round, Corey found himself in a war with the number one team in the league this year, Show ME Your TDs and their owner Austin Scott. Austin’s team had dominated the league this year, finishing the regular season with an 11-2 record and lead by a triumvirate of Antonio Brown, Devonta Freeman, and Adrian Peterson. Despite the competition, Team You Fools once again put up over 120 points and defeated Show Me Your TDs 123 – 96.

In the Championship Game, the #3 Seed Team 98 Debress, was waiting for Corey. Aj’s team had put together a respectful 9-4 record and had managed to defeat Bryant and John Moore (RIP) in route to the championship. However Corey’s team would continue it’s run of domination by putting up 127 points and outscoring Aj’s team by 15 points.

With his Championship win, Corey completed the most dominating playoff run in league history. He averaged 124 points in the playoffs and has captured his second Championship. Even though this feat happened in the Pre-Trophdeez era, Corey will always be remembered as our first ever two time champ!
